Sheldon Fannin started playing football in eighth grade then went on to play the next four years at Liberty Senior High School in Liberty, MO. During those four years, Coach Sheldon was a 3x Varsity Letterman and an Offensive Scout Team Player of the Year.

In 2009, Coach Sheldon's semipro career began with the Missouri Mustangs. During the next five years, he would go on to play in two Central Plains Football League (CPFL) championship games, win two Division Championships and two Conference Championships. He became the All-Time Leading Rusher in Yards for season, Career Leading Rusher for Touchdowns in a season, and Career Record Holder for Rushing Touchdowns a in game. He is a 3x CPFL All-Star and 3x CPFL Top 3 Rusher. He was part of one of the greatest arena offenses of all time.

In Coach Sheldon’s first season with The Glory, he helped produce a Top 10 Rushing Team, a Top 10 Running Back, and two All-Pro Running Backs.
